Tommy was invited and inducted into the Charleston Blues Society in April 2006 (Antonia M. Ritchie, Director) and is just busting out at the seams with pride and happiness. There are quite a few people on their  web list that T really looks up to and he is very proud to be listed with such well known talents. Look for upcoming performances to support this association in their efforts to further the Blues cause for musical affectionados everywhere.......

Tommy and Dennis McClung at the 212 Pub in Clarksburg, June 4th, 2006 for the CD release party celebrating the release of "Live Out of the Ordinary" by the Dennis McClung Blues Band. Tommy and Dennis are great friends and also members of the Charleston Blues Society.

Tommy is also a member of the West Virginia Blues Society (Jack Rice, President). The West Virginia Blues Society is a STATE WIDE organization with Rep. in every major city in the State. Tommy supports the cause of both of these institutions. Spreading the word about blues music and the history of the blues.Why are there two Blues Societies in Charleston West Virginia you may ask (and T was asked that question by a close friend and blues enthusiast ......)?   Well.... Tommy doesn't actually know the answer to that question and if he had to venture a guess, you would probably end up with an answer like "Look... I have no idea why there are two...... I'm a guitar player ..... The only thing I can tell any of 'em is I love the Blues and will help them all in any way that I can so.......Come on.....!!!!  Let's get this mojo workin' and play some blues music and have some fun."
